Philosophy

This is a unique post experience where I invite you into my cozy home to make it your artist studio. The space is warm and inviting, built in the 1930s and renovated thoughtfully keeping hints of its original charm all around you. A lit candle or two and some soft music create a relaxing and yet professional environment perfect for collaboration.
Take a phone call, eat a meal, catch up with your DP who you haven’t seen since you wrapped, and of course, sit back, relax and see your hard work come to life.

Every client has varying degrees of knowledge about the technical aspects of post-production.
I like to meet each person where they are and carry them through post as seamlessly as possible whether you’re a DP who knows the exact look you’re going for or a director who wants to experiment and create something new together.

Adjustable rates is a tool for economic justice.

I know that not every artist has, or has had, the same opportunities and resources available to them throughout their journey into storytelling. I offer adjustable rates to increase access to high-end post-production services. This way filmmakers and artists can receive a high-quality post experience no matter what they have budgeted for post.

If you are BIPOC or LGBTQIA + or someone with a disability and would like to work together:

After receiving a quote, if you for any reason, would like to negotiate the rate, I will happily collaborate with you to settle on something that’s comfortable for both of us.

Thank you 69herbs for introducing me to this tool. For more info on adjustable rates/sliding scale, you can check out the work of Alexis J. Cunningfolk.
