I am a colorist and finishing artist.

With any service I offer conform through final delivery. Including basic compositing, clean-up, look creation, LUT creation, end credits, and delivery to spec.

REMOTE

There’s not always time or the possibility for supervised sessions. I utilize the user-friendly collaboration platform Frame.io, which has been directly integrated within Davinci Resolve. This means I am able to render directly from my timeline to Frame.io for on-the-fly client reviews and feedback.
Your comments and illustrations are automatically synced to my timeline allowing for fast turnaround. 

Feel free to ask about live remote grading sessions as well (available virtually across the globe)!

SUPERVISED

I love having a director or DP in the room because then I get to experience the specific words and body language you use to describe color and light firsthand. Even if you have very little experience talking about color, what you share will help me immensely as I continue to grade your project after you’ve left the room. In our initial session we’ll set looks on every scene, grading a wide and medium shot from each setup. From there I'll be able to work on my own and match the rest of the shots in the scene to our "hero" shots we graded together. Once I’ve completed the first pass I’ll send out a review via Frame.io.
From there we can do the reviews/notes all virtually or you’re welcome to come back in for another supervised session.

The editor exports a quicktime of the entire cut at the original resolution and as a high-res format (ex. 3840x2160 ProRes 4444). I will then cut that quicktime up into individual shots, grade each shot, and deliver a fully graded quicktime back.

The editor delivers the source footage, XML/AAF of the picture-locked timeline, and a low-res editorial reference. I will then conform your project back to the source footage and begin the grade. I can then deliver the graded individual shots back to the editor to re-conform OR I can deliver a full high-res quicktime.
